"Mark grew up in Buckinghamshire and like many future vets, his ambition was obvious from an early age.  Summer holidays were spent milking and calving cows, evenings spent helping out at the local dog training club, and weekends working at a veterinary practice.  During his 5 years at the Royal Veterinary College Mark was an active member of the Students Union Society, eventually taking a year out from studying to fulfill his role as president. It was during this time that Mark discovered his interest in management.  Mark graduated in July 2007 and went straight to work in a small animal practice in Tamworth, Staffordshire.  Despite enjoying finally getting to practice all he had learnt during the 5 years of training, his desire to move into a management role
